Heroes and Villains: This brit-flick feature film from Vertigo Films released November 17th 2006. Dean plays Gavin - seen here at the climax of the movie having been made up as Dr Evil from the Austin Powers movie. Starring David Raymond, Jenny Agutter, James Corden and Brendan Patricks. Directed by Selwyn Roberts.

Dean Mitchell Heroes-and-Villains

Friend or Foe: This BBC Documentary focused on Friendly Fire during the first Gulf War. Dean was honoured to play the part of real life hero former officer Lt Col kevin Wessels of the American 1st Armoured Cavalry in this gritty reconstruction taking his life into his own hands in order to save his men. Directed by Marcus Ryder.

Dean Mitchell Friend-or-Foe

Tough Love: Produced by Granada and starring Ray Winstone and Adrian Dunbar. This was Deans early performance in this crime drama that earned Dean his first credit as ‘Patrol Officer’ for a scene during the Police Enforcement crackdown. Directed by David Drury.

British Airways: This was Deans first featured commercial for British Airways ‘Have you seen how small our prices are?’ The punch line was Dean not supposed to be noticing the huge billboard behind him. Directed by Steve Reeves.

Family Affairs: Here is a clip from British Soap ‘Family Affairs’ where Police Officer Dean Mitchell handles a drunk along with Police Sergeant Christian Simpson. Little did Dean and Christian realise they’d be working together years later on Star Wars Episode III.

Dean Mitchell MILE_HIGH

Mile High: The hit Sky One show produced by Hewland International described as a potent mix of fast paced drama and comedy. Dean is the aircraft technician who makes the tough decision to ground the plane. Later Dean worked on Band of Brothers alongside the Captain once more.

Dean Mitchell ABBA-Number-Ones

ABBA #1’s: This commercial for ABBA Number Ones CD and DVD released November 2006 was a job Dean really wanted to do for this legendary pop group. Fortunately his enthusiasm paid off during the casting for Polydor. Directed by Kate Dawkins.

Dean Mitchell Yusuf-Islam-Cat-Stevens

Midday: Dean Mitchell played the dodgy card dealer, greased back and sleezed up for the Ysuf Islam/Cat Stevens promo for Midday (Avoid the city afterdark.) You’ll find him in the ‘over 18s’ unedited version.
